It is the ZONE OF PROXIMAL DEVELOPMENT, it means that a child is an active learner in a word of full of other people. Those people play important roles in helping children to learn, the adults mediate the world for children and make it accessible to them. this zone is what the children can do alone without the adults help. (Laura)
    Experiential learning:
Metacognition: metacognition refers to the processes that allow people to reflect on their own cognitive abilities. In other words, metacognition allows people to know what they know, or to think about their thinking.
Metacognitive processes include planning, monitoring one's own thoughts, problem solving, making decisions and evaluating one's thought processes. It also involves the use of strategies for remembering information. Metacognition is vital to the learning process.
    Metacognitive skills develop during childhood.

Learning strategies: They are actions that learners take to help themselves to understand and remember vocabulary. Strategies change with age and students can pick up information from the context, illustrations, grammatical information about words, noticing links to similar words in L1, etc (Veronica)
Formulaic language:Chunks of language that come ready made and can be brought into use with less effort that constructing a phrase or sentence. Its use is caused by the heavy mental demands of speaking.(Estela H)

As Stephen Krashen said, "motivation" is a key factor in language acquisition. The way in which students can be motivated depends on the characteristics of the group: age, cognitive style of learning, social context etc. However, beyond the group, the teacher should always act as a mediator between knowledge and learners. (Vanina M.)
The students need to be motivated in learning a foreign language and they also need interact among them. A best way to motivate them could be through routines in which the teacher gives activities to catch their attention and can add new vocabularies. (Pamela)
Taking into account the theories of learning I think that We have to motivate students to learn English. The teacher has an important role in the classroom because he/she is the connection between the knowledge and children. I like motivate them using different songs, visual aids such as videos, posters, etc, stories, role playing and drama. Children love listening to stories and acting out and I love too so I try to do these activities once or twice a week.

I expect to learn the best way to teach and to learn how to plan a good class such as, how to present an activity, how to develop it and how to attract the student's attention.
I think that the presentation is very important because if students love what they learn, they will never forget it. So, I want to learn techniques in order to motivate them to enjoy learning English and when I work as a teacher I will put it on practice. (Pamela)
I expect to learn many strategies to teach the language. I love english and I love teaching so I would like the children to want to learn and enjoy the language.
I want to learn how to plan good activities for children and try to develop them in a good and enjoyable way.
I've been teaching for many years and I think I can improve a lot of tools of teaching.

Icebreakers: The first class is the right time to introduce each other and get acquainted. Icebreakers will help us to reduce anxiety, make our students feel more relaxed and comfortable and create a positive environment. (Johanna)
Sensitisation activities: Activities that develop the sense of belonging to students( Estela H)
Develop a routine: From the very beginning of the year, the teacher teaches basic phrases and classroom instructions in order to provide your students some basic tools for communication. A best way to incorporate the target language in daily routines is through activities. For instance, when the teacher takes attendance, get students to respond a question in order to show their presence.
Use comprehension strategies readily: By using gestures, body language and paraphrasing not only will the teacher be facilitating student learning but also modelling how to use strategies for communication. (Pamela)

I expect to learn new and funny techniques to make little children love English. I think that if they love what they learn, they will never forget it. I want to improve my way of planning classes too, in order to organize myself and make them better for my students.
    Veronica.

    Thank you, Vanina. Excellent job!
    Pre task:
I'll show the students some pictures of graphs and charts about a company in distress.
I'll stick them on the board and ask the students to do a brainstorm about the pictures.
Then I'll ask them to divide the ideas in two columns: positive and negative.
    Task Cycle
    Task:
The students do the task and I propose them to do self correction by reading their positive and negative concepts to check if they are correct.
    Planning:
They imagine they are financial manager of a company in distress. They write sentences using Should/ Shouldn't, to give advice, and save the company.
    Report:
They read aloud each setence advicing what to do to salve the Company.
I agree with Vanina, that the planning should be longer, because they need to know some grammar stractures before writing.

Teacher says a phrase like: I like chocolate! Students who agree, have to stand up and say aloud: just like me!!!!!!!The others keep sitting on their chair. Each student says a phrase in turns, and the whole class, including the teacher say : just like me! They enjoy it!

I tell the students to sit down in a circle on the floor. I take a wool ball and I present myself showing the ball in my hand, then I pass the ball to one student from the circle but keeping the yarn in my hand. The student who has the ball presents his or herself and pass the ball to a partner keeping the yarn, and while presenting ourselves a net is being formed. The net represents the good relationship between partners that we want for our group.

Students list some traits that make them unique. From that list, create a bingo-like card with a square for each student. write one fact form each student's list in one of the squares; they must ask one another if they 'sleep with a stuffed toy', for eg. When the students identify the person who matches the information in the square, that person writes his or her initials in the box. Set a time limit and see who collects the most initials before time runs out.
